Today marks a whole 10 years since I left the security of a job at Strath Print alongside running my business, and took the leap to become fully self employed.
Life today looks very different to how it did 10 years ago, but my core business values remain the same – craftsmanship, creativity and integrity.
I really enjoy getting to know each customer individually and discovering their story. I can then go on to create something bespoke for them – whether a handmade picture frame to display an artwork, or a logo to publicise a small business or community group.
I love creating something which gives folk confidence to promote their own work.

I graduated from art school back in 2008, and have been printing, framing and designing ever since. From very humble beginnings in a freezing cold petrol station building before the power was switched on (imagine painting by candlelight and watching the paint actually freezing on the walls before drying…), to working out of a beautifully warm and dry studio space in Kyle with the most breathtaking views.

I’m just getting back into the studio following the birth of my second baby. Wee Aila, and her big brother Struan, have certainly changed my life. We live in an area full of entrepreneurs, and I’m excited to work with more of these hidden gems and help them to shine a light on what they do.
If you have a design project you’d like to discuss then please get in touch for a chat. I have limited availability for personal framing at the moment, but do have a waiting list set up.
