Design brief

Lorien Lodge is a new, purpose built lodge, offering luxury self-catering accommodation in Breakish, on the Isle of Skye. Built by owner John, he and partner Deb are opening the lodge up for its first bookings this spring.

John and Deb were looking for a logo and branding design which would complement the unique shape of this beautiful, modern wooden lodge (with a strong nod to the Lord of the Rings lettering). The glass fronted building has the most amazing views – and reflections – of the Skye hills and beyond, and I wanted to convey this through the logo.
